Our Method

At SISU Sauna and Cold Plunge we follow the traditional Nordic style of contrast therapy.  This includes relaxing in the sauna for up to 15 minutes, chilling in the cold tub for up to 5 minutes, then relaxing to start the process again. Repeat this process as much as you like based on your experience and comfort (3-4 times within the hour session)

Hot Sauna

Up to 15 Minutes

Relax in the sauna for up to 15 minutes. Be sure to drink plenty of water before, during, and after your visit. Be sure to rinse in the sauna shower.

Cold Plunge

0-5 Minutes

Breathe deeply as you immerse your body for up to 5 minutes. Keep track of your increased time to develop better results.

Relax

0-3 Minutes

Gradual warm up, take up to 3 minutes to warm up naturally. Stretch, drink warm water or do light cardio.

Repeat

3-4 times

End in cold to rejuvenate and end in heat to relax. Continue to drink during and after your SISU session throughout the day.
